Our Process
A structured, transparent engineering process — from first conversation to fully operational network.

Phase 1. Discovery & Requirements
Every engagement starts with a conversation. We take time to fully understand your business requirements, technical environment, and operational goals before recommending anything.
- We sit down with your team — technical and non-technical — to understand your business goals, pain points, and growth plans
- We map your current traffic patterns, capacity requirements, redundancy needs, and security posture.
- We identify any regulatory, compliance, or contractual requirements that must be reflected in the design.
- We audit your existing infrastructure — routers, switches, firewalls, cabling, and any third-party or cloud systems in scope.
- We ask the uncomfortable questions others skip — because surprises mid-project cost everyone time and money.

Phase 2. Design & Architecture
With a full picture of your environment, our engineers get to work. This is where the technical heavy lifting begins.
- Our senior engineers produce a detailed network design document — topology diagrams, routing protocol selection, IP addressing plans, and hardware recommendations.
- We evaluate multiple design options and present the trade-offs honestly — cost, performance, scalability, and operational complexity.
- Vendor-neutral by default — we recommend what's right for your environment, not what's easiest for us.
- You receive a clear Statement of Work with defined deliverables, milestones, timelines, and acceptance criteria.
- Nothing moves forward until you've reviewed, understood, and signed off on the design.

Phase 3. Review & Validation
Configurations are built and tested in a lab or staging environment wherever possible.
- Configurations are built and tested in a lab or staging environment wherever possible.
- Designs are peer-reviewed internally against carrier-grade standards — every line of config is checked.
- We simulate failure scenarios to validate redundancy, failover, and recovery behaviour.
- We walk you through the validated solution in plain language — explaining every decision and the reasoning behind it.
- Your feedback is incorporated before we proceed — this is a collaboration, not a handover.

Phase 4. Deployment & Handover
Deployment day is the culmination of everything that came before it — and we treat it with the seriousness it deserves.
- Changes are deployed methodically, step by step, with documented rollback procedures ready for every stage.
- We schedule maintenance windows around your business — minimising disruption to your operations and your clients.
- Every change is monitored in real time during and after deployment — we don't leave until the network is stable.
- Full as-built documentation is produced and handed over — topology diagrams, configuration backups, IP plans, and runbooks.
- We provide knowledge transfer sessions for your internal team so they understand exactly what's been built and how to operate it.
- Ongoing managed support and monitoring options are available — so we stay close if you need us.
